LLP Compliance

Untitled design (29)

LLP compliance refers to the mandatory set of legal and regulatory obligations that Limited Liability Partnerships must fulfill to maintain their legal standing and avoid penalties. This includes regular filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), such as the annual return (Form 11) and the statement of accounts and solvency (Form 8). Beyond these statutory filings, LLPs must also adhere to income tax regulations, file their tax returns annually, and comply with any industry-specific laws or licenses applicable to their business. Timely and accurate compliance ensures the LLP retains its “active” status, protects the limited liability of its partners, and builds credibility with regulators and stakeholders. Non-compliance can lead to significant fines, disqualification of partners, and even the striking off of the LLP’s name from the register.
